yesterday i’ve download harry potter and the sorcerer’s stone and already install but when i open it there’s a error message “general protection fault!
History : applnit” what i have to do to solve this problem.
i used window 8 64 bit.
Right click on the shortcut, select Properties > Compatibility tab, check the box next to “Run this in compatibility mode for”, choose Windows XP SP3, & then click Apply. Then try your shortcut again & see if the game works.
still not work just show a same error message

ADMIN SIR, when I try to open this game…Insane 2….It says failed to initialise steam …how do I solve it..???
1. Exit Steam.
2. Right click Steam icon on your desktop and choose Run as administrator
Sometimes Steam.exe is still running so make sure to end the process in the task manager and then try again. Or restart your computer and then try running steam as administrator.
If the file is there and you have antivirus running in the background, try disabling the antivirus and then launch steam and the game and see if it helps.
You can also try to verify game cache (with antivirus disabled) or simply download and re-install the game with antivirus disabled.
I don’t have steam….Please upload steam also… I don’t know anything about steam… Please hep me
